Installation and Maintenance
Installation:
An installation kit is included and instructions supplied.
Using the mounting bracket supplied, position the transmitter so that the operator can see the front panel.
- Power Connection:
Red to positive – 12v to 30v dc
Black to negative – chassis
- Magnetic Based Aerial:
Attach on top of cab roof preferably near the front.
- Remote Release Switch:
An optional plug-in lead is available to be connected to any momentarily ‘normally open’ switch.
Maintenance:
The Fortronics Electronic Choker System has been designed so that only minimal maintenance is required.
It is important that the trigger and locking pin mechanism are cleaned and greased periodically.
Depending upon operating conditions this requirement might be every one, two or three months.
