Rope and Rope Sliders (preferred option)
Two sizes available for:

a) 1/2" to 5/8" rope (small M4 ferrule)      b) 5/8" to 3/4" rope ( B5 ferrule)

Fortronics chokers attached to rope are suitable for all methods of stem/log harvesting. Poor deflection is not an issue.

Chain and Chain Sliders

Due to the whipping action of chain, the choker will experience far greater shock impacts upon it when solid formations such as stumps are hit, especially at speed on the outward cycle.

Therefore in yarder operations it is important there must be adequate deflection which minimises high impact collisions.

Fortronics chokers are well suited to chain use on ground based machines.
